Violet City is a town in the video games Pokémon Gold, Silver, and Crystal. It is the second town that the player visits on his or her road to the Pokémon League. Falkner is the Gym Leader here and specializes in Flying-type Pokémon. He gives the Zephyr Badge to his opponents once defeated.
The music from Violet City and Olivine City was remixed for use in Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen. The remixed music is used on Six and Seven Islands.
Places of interest
[edit | edit source]Sprout Tower

An NPC in the tower base says that the center tower pillar is said to be a 100 foot tall Bellsprout.
Earl's Pokémon Academy
[edit | edit source]A Pokémon school taught by none other than Earl himself. He is kind of quirky and acts like a ballerina, but he will give the player tips on status ailments and how to raise Pokémon.
