Power supply is what powers a computer. When you purchase your power supply keep in mind how many Watts your other components use and buy a supply accordingly. The more wattage, the more expensive. Too little wattage can cause serious problems with your computer. The physical configuration is important as well. The component must fit properly into the computer's case.
