Zoph/Roadmap

0.10

Design goals for Zoph 0.10:

• Zoph 0.10 should be completely template-based
• has an up-to-date PHP5 syntax
  • better robustness through a better established API
• can be installed and updated through the webinterface
  • will be more suitable for non-technical users than what's currently the state
• As with each Zoph release, the goal is to have 0 open bugs

Zoph 0.10 will be developed in a few phases, each concluded by a working "feature preview release":

0.9.1

• Further refactoring / updating Zoph to new coding standards
  • Refactoring main classes: zophTable / zophTreeTable / photo / person / album / category / location
• Webbased configuration (instead of editing config.inc.php)

0.9.2

• Further refactoring / updating Zoph to new coding standards
  • Moving to a new database class, using prepared statements
• Installation through webinterface

0.9.3

• Further refactoring / updating Zoph to new coding standards
• New log in screen + various authorization improvements
• New search screen / rewrite of search core

0.9.4

• Upgrade through webinterface
