Wikibooks:Nurture

Wikibooks need to be nurtured like roses.

Rules exist to help the Wikibooks community grow and books to mature. When a rule prevents healthy growth and maturity, ignore it. Sometimes in our zeal to caution against unwise actions, we may give them the idea to do it. When rules stop nurturing books, prune them to encourage positive changes. Pruning is the process of moving, removing, revising, restructuring, or otherwise changing the contents of a page.

Wikibooks should nurture. You can help nurture new contributors through leading by example. You can help nurture new books by jumping right in and getting you hands dirty.
