  • Each verb in Welsh has a stem. Adding an ending to this stem changes the tense of the verb.
  • Usually, the stem of a verb is everything minus the last vowel. However, there are exceptions to this rule. Learn the exceptions one-by-one as you come across them.
  • Remember, any object after a short form verb takes a soft mutation.
