Introduction

QCL is a small computer language invented to allow people to design quizzes where the questions and answers may vary in form.

For instance, the question “When did WWII begin?” has many equivalent forms.

Two being: “When did the second world war begin?” and “What was the start date of the second world war?”

The answer also has many equivalent forms.

An objective of QCL is to capture this sort of variation compactly, so that the quiz can be created using the least time necessary and with the greatest variety of form possible.

This wikibook will teach you how QCL works using examples of its application and accompanying exercises.
