The Catalan Hyperencyclopaedia is a project that has been developed by the Comissionat per a la Societat de la Informació and Enciclopèdia Catalana.

The Hyperencyclopaedia is the most comprehensive collection of terms related to Catalonia: its towns and cities, history, most outstanding personalities, and characteristics. Taken directly from the documentary collections of the Gran Enciclopèdia Catalana, the first encyclopaedia of universal scope ever written in Catalan about Catalonia, this work will now be available to the public in English. Search for anything relating to our country, and you will get a list of words in alphabetical order, including a brief description, and links leading you to complete Encyclopaedia entries on that subject.

PLEASE NOTE: Since these texts are still being translated and proof-read, some modifications may appear. We would encourage you to send any feedback or observations by writing to us at Hiperenciclopedia@grec.com
