Participant universities:Universities with occupational, environmental and public health training courses[edit | edit source]

Participant students: Professionals who work in a clinic with the possibility to collect patient questionnaires & Professionals in public health with access to register data[edit | edit source]

Objectives: to perform practical research course based on a ready questionnaire or register data[edit | edit source]

Time schedule: 60 hours distributed over 6 month:[edit | edit source]

24 hours in 3 workshops a 8 hours + 8 hours used for 3 month data collecting + 28 hours at home in 2 months to analyse the data and to write a small article

Teachers: a team of 2-5 will give the lectures and continue as the tutors to inspire and help during the data collection and writing of the article[edit | edit source]

Finansial: Saltra Panama Teaching Fund:[edit | edit source]

The students fee = 50-100 USD. The teachers are paid the costs for travel and hotel if outside the City

After the course: - the participants will be able to:[edit | edit source]

Perform minor research projects with their own research questions
Prepare a minor article for publication in “La revista…”
Be active members of the Panama Collegium Ramazinni (PRC)
Continue to develop their research skills
Be active teachers in the courses
Be active participants in the PCR meeting and give lectures on research methods and present their own research
