Tundra biomes[edit | edit source]
The Tundra biome is the biome of the cold. Sometimes Tundra can go down to -34 degrees celcius.
Animals of the Tundra[edit | edit source]
There are many animals in the tundra biome. Some the animals include reindeers, arctic fox, polar bears, wolves, grizzly bears. Animals that live in the tundra must adapt to there biome to live and keep warm. Some live igloos.
Arctic fox[edit | edit source]
The Arctic Foxhas shorts ears and a round body with a thick coat to minimize the amount of skin exposed to the frigid air. Also their skin is black so they can use the suns energy to keep warm. The arctic fox also has a strong link to Huskies.
Caribou/reindeer[edit | edit source]
The caribou/reindeers is located in the northern countries such as Canada, Russia, Greenland, Finland, Norway, and Sweden. Caribou are migatory animals and are known for mass migrations across the Tundra in search for food.
