Bill Dauster is a lawyer, economist, and speechwriter who has served on United States Senate and White House staffs since 1986, and currently works as deputy chief of staff for policy for Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid. Since 2005, has written and expanded Wikipedia articles on each of the 54 weekly Torah portions. On Wikibooks, since July 2012, he has been working on a book on the Torah.
