[edit] Preface

A Technology Plan is an important document for every educational institution. It is so important that some states, such as Pennsylvania, have incorporated the Technology Plan into the state-required Strategic Plan. This wikibook is based on the knowledge, experience, and learnings of a group of graduate students and their professor. This goal of this book is to offer insight and methodology into the best practices that should be followed to for a valid Technology Plan that is created, supported, and accepted by all stakeholders. This book is a work in progress and does not yet offer a complete step-by-step guide to Technology Planning. This book does aim to offer a starting point for others to follow and build upon.
