Arrow Blow - Bowman Skill
AC
Auto-Clicker. Before Wizet's implementation of GameGuard, these programs were one of the most popular way to gain entrance into the Kerning City and Ludibrium Party Quests. Wizet now prohibits their use. Despite the ban, they still are very popular today.

Arrow Eruption - Sniper Skill
AFK
Away From Keyboard; typically suggests that a player is currently inactive, but still logged on.
AFMS
Away From Maple Story

Arrow Rain - Ranger Skill
Aqua Road
ATM
Short for "at the moment".
Asi, Asia, Asianic
Asianic Bow - Bowman Bow

Death by another player's summoning bag.
Banditsin
A rogue that maxes Lucky 7 and will make the job advancement as a bandit.

Bow Booster - Bowman Skill

Arrow Bomb - Hunter Skill
Booster
Weapon booster skill - Most classes have a skill to boost their attack speed.

Be Right Back - Player must leave, but will be right back.

Shorthand used to mean "Buying".

Crossbow Booster - Bowman Skill
Chief Bandit - third job for Bandits

Change channel(s). Considered very rude to most people. To change channels means to leave a map (presumably to another channel) that someone is training on to avoid Kill Stealing them.

Change channel(s) please. Another way people use "CC".
CE
Curse Eyes, found around Sleepywood and Ellinia.
Cold Eyes, found deep in the Dungeon.
Clean
An equipment with all of its slots remaining.
Coolies
The Coolie Zombies in the Forest of Dead Trees maps deep in El Nath.
CP5
Cloud Park 5, a popular training spot.
CRog
Crimson Balrog - One of the most powerful monsters in the game.
CS
Critical Shot - Bowman Skill
Cash Shop
Cursed Sanctuary, the map where Jr. Balrog spawns.

Player defame others who does not do anything bad. Defamers may defame for fun, lossing a game, jeaious others level up or more powerful.

Grim Phantom Watches, high-level monsters that are found in Ludibrium.

Holy Arrow - active skill available only for magicians, specifically clerics, in which a 'holy' or 'divine' arrow is fired at any surrounding enemies and foes. This inflicts a great deal of damage upon undead monsters, when this skill has been maxed.

Hyper Body - Spearman Skill
HHG
Henesys Hunting Grounds - The first map to the left of Henesys.
HP
Health/Hit Point(s) - the amount of life, or health, a player may have. Acquiring damage may result in the decreasing of health/hit points, while consuming any type of health-providing products may result in the increasing of health/hit points. HP is indicated by a medium-sized red bar that is located at the very bottom of the screen right to the left of the MP bar.

Holy Symbol - Priest Skill
Hidden Street - www.hidden-street.net
Hybrid
A spearman who uses both spears and polearms, or a bandit that uses luck and str daggers.

Kill Steal - Kill steal is when one user kills a monster that another user is fighting, or is about to fight. It is usually depreciated by users.

Mass Defame
The act of defaming a character multiple times by either using alternate characters, or calling upon one's friends to defame the character.

Mana/Magic Point(s) - A type of substance that enables a player to cast and perform magic, as in skills. MP is indicated by a medium-sized bar that is light-blue in color, located at the very bottom of the screen right beside the HP bar, while one is running the MapleStory program.

Common insult used for describing experienced players who behave like newbies.
NPC
Non-Player Character. (Shop/Quest characters)
Act of selling an item to a shop NPC instead of to another player.
Nub
Another form of noob.

Power Guard - Fighter and Page skill
Pizard
Poison Wizard - Fire/Poison Wizard who uses pure Poison. Very uncommon build.

Power Knock-Back - Hunter and Crossbowman skill.
Pls, Plz, Pl0x
Please - common for noobs to say, especially when someone wants you to change channels.

Party Quest

Power Strike - Warrior Skill

Party. Party members can share part of EXP gained from other members (as known as Training). All memebers can pick up any mesos or items dropped by monsters killed by other memebers.
PT Leech
Party Leech(PTL) is who join a party do not kill but gain EXP from party.
Pwned
Common, intentional mispelling of 'owned', with same meaning.

Rawr
An alternative spelling of "roar"
Repot
Buying potions from the nearest store (usually a town).
Rest-Kill
Rest-Kill (RK) is other player induces or knock-back monsters to attack you when you are resting.
ROFL
Rolling On the Floor Laughing - used when someone says something so funny, you are literally on the floor laughing.
ROFLMFAO
Rolling On the Floor Laughing My F***ing Ass off - used when someone says something so funny, you are literally on the floor laughing and your ass is falling off.
Rog
Jr. or Crimson Balrog.
Rush
Exitting a PQ with the intention of re-entering immediately. Usually done after Kerning PQ's Bonus stage.

Too much info, used when someone says too much info causing them to feel uncomfortable.
Track
Repeatedly using the /find command on a player to follow their movement, often used in PQs to determine a current party's location.
Train
If somebody ask for train, it means who want to party with players in higher level and gain much EXP from it. For an effective training, it is suggested to party with player at least 5 level higher than you. But you should note that if the trainer kills monster not for your level, you may not gain any EXP.
Transfer
Using the storage feature to move items from one character to another on the same world/account.
