Descriptive Geometry/Axonometric Projection/Axonometric Projections

From Wikibooks, open books for an open world

Given: Scale with Angles(<D,< E) and Sight Angles (<F,<G)

  1. Begin with top and front orthographic views of the object.
  2. Construct an auxiliary view from a folding line at (<F) relative to the horizontal.
  3. From this new view construct an auxiliary view from a folding line at (<G) relative to the previous folding line.
  4. This new view should present an axonometric view in which the edges are at (<D) and (<E) relative to the transfer/construction lines.

Axonometric Projection Construction

An example problem is given below.

An axonometric projection constructed using 2 views and a given graphic scale.
