DD-WRT is an alternate firmware available for Wi-Fi routers. This software is usually not officially supported by the original manufacturer of the router, and may void your warranty. DD-WRT is free, open source software licensed under the GNU General Public License version 2. The current stable version is v24. The official website is located here.
