Beans and yam is a dish often eaten for lunch in Nigeria.

Procedure[edit | edit source]

  1. Wash and drain the beans, then transfer to a pot with the onion, stock cube, salt, and pepper.
  2. Add enough water to cover everything in the pot. Boil until the beans are almost soft.
  3. Add the yam, and boil until the yam and beans are soft.
  4. Stir in the palm oil, and cook for another 3 minutes.
  5. Serve.
