Nigerian barbecued fish is a spicy seafood dish from Nigeria.

Ingredients[edit | edit source]

Equipment[edit | edit source]

Procedure[edit | edit source]

  1. Clean and gut the fish well, scaling it and removing the gills.
  2. Blend together the pepper, garlic, ginger, onion, seasoning cube, suya spice, bell peppers, and vegetable oil to make a marinade.
  3. Submerge the fish in the marinade, making sure it is well-coated inside and out. Let marinate for 1–2 hours.
  4. Heat a grill grate, and grease with oil. Add the fish and cook, flipping and applying marinade, until well-cooked (up to about 30–45 minutes).
  5. Serve hot with extra onion and green bell pepper.
