Active Server Pages (ASP) (Microsoft, Web) is a technology that creates dynamic Web Pages by executing Java Script or VB Script statements on a server, generating HTML, and sending the resulting Webpage to a browser. ASP is packaged as a part of the Personal Web Server (PWS) and Internet Information Server (IIS) suites.
