The months, like the days of the week, were also all borrowed from Spanish.

Dates can be written as follows:

  • English format: April 26, 1988 would be Abril 26, 1988
  • Spanish format: April 26, 1988 would be ika-26 kan Abril, 1988

First of all, learn the whole list of months by heart. Make sure you can recite them to yourself, without looking at this page.

Here are a few sentences using the months in Bikol. You can see how the article is used, depending on the context.
