This page may need to be Developed to reduce the mite population of that hive. It is placed on the bottom of the hive box. Sticky paper can be placed underneath the box to observe the number of mites that fall through the screen. If a plain floor is used below the SBB, a gap of around 2" (5cm) will prevent any mites returning to the hive.
