Convolutional Neural Networks[edit | edit source]
Convolutional Neural Networks were first introduced in the approach done by LeCun et al. (1998) in document understanding recognition system. The CNN concept was neurobiologically inspired and motivated by animal visual cortex, namely the cat visual processing system.
