The human brain is an entity that obeys the laws of physics. The laws of physics are expressed in mathematical equations. Mathematical equations can be converted into computer programs which in turn are expressed as zeroes and ones. In theory therefore it is possible to build a general purpose neuron with Boolean circuits that could be grouped together to form an artificial brain.
