Please can you help to improve Wikibooks by doing future experiments of the wiki software, like the recent edits to 0.999.../Proof by limit manipulation, in the sandbox instead? Your fellow contributors consider test edits in the sandbox constructive. You can ask questions or ask for help in the Assistance Reading Room.

@PokestarFan: The content that I removed is literally meaningless. To write

\lim _{n\to \infty }=8

, etc., is nonsensical akin to writing

\sum =8

or

\prod =8
