Wikimedia/Wikinews
Wikinews was a multilingual free news source. It used the same software as Wikipedia (MediaWiki) and the name is currently owned by the Wikimedia Foundation (WMF). The project was proposed by an anonymous user in 2003 and ran until 2026, when it was made read-only by the WMF.
