From Wikibooks, open books for an open world
Chapters: 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 5 - 6
  1. First, you'll want to open up Google Chrome on your computer. It's usually an icon with a colorful circle.
  2. Now, my dear, look up at the top of the screen. Do you see a long, thin box? That's called the "search bar."
  3. Just give that search bar a gentle click with your mouse or tap it with your finger if you're using a touchscreen.
  4. Now, you're ready to type in what you want to search for.
  5. Once you've finished typing, you can either press the "Enter" key on your keyboard or look for a little magnifying glass icon nearby and give it a little click. That's how we tell Chrome to start looking for what you want.
  6. Chrome will show you a new page (depends on the search engine you set, by default is google.com with lots and lots of information related to what you searched for. You can click on any of those links to learn more about the topic you're interested in.
