Welcome to nuclear engineering. This book is designed to given you an overview of what nuclear engineers do and basic concepts and vocabulary in the nuclear field. This book will only make minimal use of calculus for derivation purposes only, but a working understanding of pre-calculus, elementary physics, and elementary chemistry is needed to fully understand the concepts.
