I retired from a 30 year career with ConocoPhillips in 2015 from a position in COP Australia. Prior to this role I was the Functional Excellence Team Lead for the Asset and Operating Integrity global team for ConocoPhillips. I was part of a small team that launched a corporate wiki to facilitate knowledge sharing.

After many years of theoretical interest, I have recently got more involved in model railroads, and am currently building an HO scale N.American layout (DCC) and an N Guage UK freelance layout (DC)

I was featured in the 2017 UK Channel 4 production “Biggest Little Railway in the World”, and was the team leader of the Tracklaying Ninjas in the 2018 UK Channel 5 production “Great Model Railway Challenge”.

I am British, and was born in 1955 in Ottawa, Canada. I have served as a Commissioned Officer in the Royal Air Force Regiment, and then in various technical and management roles in the oil and gas industry since 1980
