Cilantro[edit | edit source]

Cilantro is an green plant called a herb which can be added to your dish for flavor. It first grew in southern Asia and northern Africa. Cilantro takes at least 9 weeks to grow fully before you can use it.

Directions[edit | edit source]

With your Cilantro seeds and all of your tools ready, it is time to plant and grow some Cilantro!

Step 1[edit | edit source]

First, you have to separate and count the seeds that you want to plant.


Leave a little space from the top of the pot!

Step 2[edit | edit source]

Then, either use your hands or a small cup to put your soil into the pot. Fill the pot with soil until it is close to the top. Gently push on the soil so it is a little firm, but not too much.



The hole should be 1/4" deep.

Step 3[edit | edit source]

Dig a small hole, either with your finger or with one of your tools. Measure the hole so that it is 1/4" from the top of the soil.


Cover the seed with soil.

Step 4[edit | edit source]

Pick up your seed drop it in the hole! Then, take a pinch of soil and fill the hole. Again, gently press down on the soil.


The seed is thirsty, so give it some water!

Pour a litle water into your pot.
