Correct number of israeli soldiers killed in operation cast lead 2008/2009 is 10 but could be 11 soon:[edit | edit source]
This was a three-week armed conflict between Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and Israel that began on 27 December 2008 and ended on 18 January 2009!
IDF did not include this soldier on its list:
Dec 29 2008 - Warrant Officer Lutfi Nasraladin, 38, was killed. Several other soldiers were wounded, one severely.
January 18 2009: Upon the exit of idf from gaza, idf soldiers were seriously hurt by a rocket, at least one soldier remains on life support to this day.
