It's "1 de enero" (and the same for the rest of the dates)

(to become? what would the female president be?and how do I write the n with "~" and the Spanish question mark??)

"llega a ser" is not bad, but I like "es elegido" better

Female of "presidente" is "presidenta"

Copy and paste from me... ¿ ñ ¡ ...I don't know much about keyboards and locale configurations. In the spanish wikipedia you have nice buttons for special characters, IIRC.

Yeah, "Confederación Suiza" is OK. Again, I like "es elegido" better.

I suppose I would say "El Tribunal Supremo de Estados Unidos"

and it should read something like "la extensión del copyright"

"que" only is "qué" when asking (directly or indirectly) or shouting

(to hand down?)

Uh... I fear I have problems in understanding the original meaning. If, as I suspect, it's the same decision, I would try "ratifica". Would it be disagreeing, then it would be something along the lines of "corrige" or "rectifica".

I would say "un famoso hacker americano"

and "A ..., ... , se le vuelve a permitir usar ordenadores." or "... el uso de ordenadores.".

"usó" is past, "uso" is present / noun

it's "El Departamento de Defensa"

maybe "Arranca ..." or "... empieza a trabajar" o "... comienza oficialmente a trabajar".

"el" is article, "él" means "he"

is it o or ó ? Could you roughly tell me the differences of "Perfecto presente" and "Imperfecto" I mean the differences in meaning, not in building it :).

"Imperfecto" is used when you are (apparently) still in the same timeslice:

• El mes pasado, wikipedia creció mucho.
• Hoy he editado un artículo.
• Esta semana he editado varios artículos, ayer mismo edité uno.
