[edit | edit source]Understanding the Stories of Sonic the Hedgehog
[edit | edit source]Sega's influential Sonic the Hedgehog video game series tells the science fantasy stories of the title character, who has the power to run faster than the speed of sound, and his and his friends' adventures which mainly involve defeating Doctor Eggman, a mad scientist who wants to take over the world and build his empire along the way. They started as simple, but became more sophisticated starting with Sonic Adventure. This digital textbook seeks to provide summaries and analyses of these stories from a literary viewpoint to help both fans and non-fans understand them.
