This is me, Nigel. I'm a retired teacher/lecturer.

Did an honours degree in Maths at London University in the early 60's. Started teaching maths in 1965. After a few years as HoD in a large comprehensive, left teaching for a spell, but went back in 1987, into FE this time, teaching maths and computing, where I ended up as Course Team Leader for HND/C Computing. Partly retired from teaching in 2003, and finished altogether in 2007. (Phew!)

I've developed a fair bit of teaching material over the years at all levels from GCSE/First Diploma to HND. Mostly Maths, but also odd computing topics. Hope to make a useful contribution to Wikibooks, especially in the first instance to Discrete Mathematics.
