I have taught physics, computer science and information technology at various level from Std XI onwards. I have taught at B.Sc Comp Science, B.Sc IT, M.Sc Comp Sc, T. Y. B. Com., and MCA. I started teaching in 1983 and am very passionate about my work.

Over the years, the subjects I have taught include:

Computer Science and IT:

Programming, C, C++, C#, Java, ASP, data structures, operating systems, data communications and networking, SQL, Visual Basic, Computer Graphics, algorithms, computational mathematics, computer architecture, web design (HTML, JavaScript, VBScript, systems programming. Also taught FORTRAN, Pascal, & COBOL!!

Physics:

Nuclear physics at TYBSc, college physics (Std XI, XII, CBSE, A/AS level), electronics (including digital and analog electronics).

Publications:

  1. "Computer Systems and Applications”, text book for TYBCom (Mumbai University) new syllabus, published by Chetna Publications, Girgaum, Mumbai, to be published in June 2010
  2. "Computer Systems and Applications”, text book for TYBCom (Mumbai University), published by Chetna Publications, Girgaum, Mumbai, in 2000
  3. Presented a paper on Urban Development and ICT at the International Conference on Urban Planning and Environment at Mumbai (Jan 2007)
  4. Some of my books published for school level have also been translated into Marathi.
  5. KSU University in Saudi Arabia have found my notes on Java useful. They have recommended my Java notes for their courses and have provided these on the KSU University web site
  6. International Balkan University, Macedonia has recommended my notes on computer science and IT for their course in IT.

Interests:

Simulations of physical processes and algorithms and use of ICT in teaching/learning activities.
