Hullo, I'm Lumi (Mušen-gig is a previous name), I'm a linguistics and history enthusiast, I'd consider myself an amateur linguist, though I lack formal training. I do extensive conlanging, often with ancient Germanic languages.

I am quite disciplined in early Germanic linguistics, I've studied them extensively, though I'm certainly not an expert, this extends into several of my attempts to learn languages, Icelandic, Old English, Old Norse, German, none of which were particularly successful, but now I've landed on Scots, which is going surprisingly well, A'm learin Scots! I'm not far into the language, still teaching myself all the orthographic and phonetic rules, but I'm picking up a bit of grammar and vocab now and then as I try to use it. A grand benefit is being able to contribute to WikiMedia projects with info on Scots, as it's criminally lacking in such.
