Introduction

The Walking With Prehistoric Life series, also known as the Trilogy Of Life series is a collection of United Kingdom television programmes and other shows that are produced by BBC Worldwide and Discovery Channel in association with ProSieben. All of the original programmes are made by Impossible Pictures, a British independent television production company, based in London and founded in 2002 by the creators of the series, Tim Haines and Jasper James. The aim of the series and specials, along with the books is to recreate extinct creatures and presents them as a wildlife documentary. Most of the shows are focus on one individual of a certain species, and those animals are the main characters in each episode.
