It is a thousand times better to have common sense without education than to have education without common sense.” Robert G. Ingersoll

Teacher Philosophy[edit | edit source]

Encourage skepticism! Each student has the right to ask questions. Each teacher has the responsibility to guide the student to the correct answer. The standards of learning can only be implemented if the teacher has high standards and expectations for themselves as a good teacher.

About Me[edit | edit source]

I love to teach. I have a natural talent identifying the problem, taking it apart, and helping those in need. The best way to learn is to know what the student knows well and then working on filling in the blanks. Through projects, demonstrations, and resources, any child can learn everything. But every child learns differently, and in my classroom, emphasis will be on the individual. I believe in the teaching theory where the symbols being taught in the classroom should be realized, not memorized. I have a realistic view on my goals and I know I can accomplish them.
