Hello to all! I am Master Tongue, because I am trying desperately to learn many languages before I die. My goal that I have set, orders me to break the world record for fluency in the most languages. Through my research, I have found that that number to break is 58. If anyone has any objections to that, please let me know.
I am also in the process of writing a fictional book, which is not posted her on Wikibooks, but will hopefully become a best seller in a few years when I am done. As you can see, I said years because my interests chance rapidly, so only part of my life is dedicated to the book. Another reason I am studying so many languages, is because of my rapidly changing interest for subjects. One day I will be studying Italian, then see a movie commercial set in France, and switch to learning French for a week or so, then hear something about Latin, and go to that. I realize this is not a healthy way to learn languages, but it works for me... for the time being... since I feel I am gifted in learning languages.
I am currently working on a learning Hawaiian book, which will be the first in my series, "Languages for the Dedicated Learner". If anyone has any suggestions for my books, please do not hesitate to leave a message. I love talking to people about languages, (within limits) and could go on and on about specific grammar in some languages! (Yeah! That's right! I'm a nerd!) And if any native Hawaiian wants to correct me in some place, I would be more than grateful!
And one more thing: if you're thinking about changing my work, lay off! I'm working too hard on these things for you to go around deleting things and getting rid of stuff! Haha ;)
... Ok, maybe just ignore that last paragraph. I don't particularly care if you alter it, but it's also the place where I keep track of what I've learned, and a personal reference point for me. So don't alter it too badly. If you are looking for a way to learn languages fast and effectively, Master Tongue is the one to go to!
