polar bears[edit | edit source]
These polar bears live in the tundra biome. The tundra biome is the coldest biome of all. The word tundra comes from the finish word tunturia ,meaning treeless plain. Artic tundra is located in the northern hemisphere.
Most animals need a really thick fur/hair/skin to live in the tundra biome because it is so cold there.
igloos[edit | edit source]
igloos are made of snow but inside they are warm. Igloos are good for people to stay in when they explore the tundra biome because it will keep them warm.
ice[edit | edit source]
Ice is made of water that has frozen because of the cold.It can melt but in the tundra biome its so cold that it cant melt very fast, because the air is cold that makes everything else cold like the ice so it will melt slowly then just turn back into ice again.
