Power, protests and social medias

This year, many protests have broken out all around the world : France, Venezuela, Lebanon, Chile, Ecuador, Hong Kong... The interesting thing is that people were more or less claiming the same things : more social justice, less corruption and inequalities. More broadly, the young generation is condemning the consequences of many years of failing democracies and neoliberalism. The particularity of this wave of protests is that they are linked through social medias. Many protesters congratulated each other and have given their support to certain movements, french "gilets jaunes" to Hong Kong protesters for example. Therefore, the issue of power emerges in two different ways. First, in the unification and the globalisation of this protests. Second, in the role of social medias and in their power of federation
