Why did I join wikibooks?
I joined wikibooks so that I could publish my A-level revision notes on the web and at the same time contribute to the open-source community. Most of my contributions to wikibooks are simply copies of my a-level notes only with greater detail. Hopefully, someone will find them useful.

Why JaF893?
JaF is my initials - my full name is Joseph Adam Farish. The 893 suffix comes from the japanese card game Oicho Kabu. Oicho Kabu is simillar to blackjack except that the aim is to get a total of 19. In Japanese, Ya means 8, ku means 9 and za means 3. Since 8+9+3 = 20 , it is a worthless score. Similarly the Yakuza or Japanese mafia serve no purpose within Japanese scoiety.
