Around the world many women face toxic men around their life. Especially in toxic relationships. Being in a toxic relationship can affect your life without knowing. Sometime you don't realize until the end of the relationship. You risk thing like other relationship with family and friends, Your mental health, and your home.

In the story, "Dream House" by Carmen Maria Machado, she speak on her past relationship with a girl who was toxic and treated Machado like trash. In the chapter,"Choose your own adventure". She talk about a time of her waking up and dealing with her partner in the morning. Throughout the it she give option on what action should happen base on the situation. Depending on what Machado chose the page goes to a different page than going page by page.

Throughout the story she know any of the action she chose it doesn't solve the relationship. She can choose the option to defend herself but she knew during that time she wouldn't have the nerve to speak out. Until the end she says,"You have forgotten that leaving is an option", when she finally is realizing the power she has to leave and let go.
