I'm a musician pursuing a Master's Degree in Trumpet Performance at the New England Conservatory of Music. I recieved a Bachelor's Degree, Summa Cum Laude and Departmental Honors, in Music Performance from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, with a minor in Computer Science. While I am in training to become a professional freelance/orchestral/chamber musician, I am also a technology/computer science/free culture enthusiast. As a creative artist, I see an important field of convergence between my passions in the current debates over copyright laws, software patents, and the public domain as we transition to a digital culture.
