Tundra is the coldest of the biomes.

Tundra comes from the word tunturia meaning treeless plain.
for example some  Characteristics are extremely cold climate, low  biotic diversity, large population and lots more.

And there are tundra animals

There are so many animals that live in the tundra including polar bears, artic foxes, white wolves, seals,igloos and lots more. During winter you may not see that many animals. It can be temperatures of -34 degrees.

  • salamanders
  • frog

its known for its extremely cold temperatures, little precipitation, frosty molded landscapes, poor nutrients and short growing seasons.


Igloos have snow on them.


seals live in groups on ice caps.

They are brown and cute.
