Basic Trainz

Basic Trainz is a community project hosted by Virtual Railroader. Send us articles, tutorials, or tips for inclusion. We will provide editing and formatting for consistency. If you already have suitable material posted elsewhere, send us the link(s) and we will add it (them) here.

File format.<a href="http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.htmlhttp://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html" target="_blank"><img src="getacro.gif" border="0" width="88" height="31" align="right"></a> Virtual Railroader is provided in Adobe Acrobat Portable Document Format (PDF) format. The files are around 5 MB in size and require Acrobat Reader, available free from Adobe. You can read the file online or download/save it to your hard drive for reading offline and printing.

For best results. With Acrobat version 4 or higher, and the right web browser, Virtual Railroader issues will open quickly, just like web pages. We have successfully used Microsoft Internet Explorer version 5.5. We highly recommend Acrobat version 6 (or higher) for superior rendition of text and linework.
