My name is Elizabeth. I live in Chesapeake Virginia, but I enjoy every bit of the hampton roads area. Im a part time waitress, and a full time assistent coach for the Hickory Highschool Field Hockey team. I have (and have had) an undying passion for field hockey for ten years now. It has always been my dream to coach and teach. So as of right now, Ive got one down and one to go :) Last year our team finished out the season being second in the district and making it to regionals. I have always had a love for sports ever since I was young.
I guess I owe that to my father, for believing that he could make boys out of his little girls. My famiy is my pride and joy. I hold them higher than anything else in my life, because without them I would have nothing to be so thankful for. I'm a huge people person. I love to talk and be sociable. I enjoy making new friends all the time. Most people would call me outgoiong, crazy, or loud, but all of those in a good way of course :).
I am a current student at Old Domionion University studying to become a highschool history teacher. There are a couple important traits that I want to have when I become an educator. I want to be extremly educated in my area of teaching. I believe that a good teacher is not one who only teaches their subject, but one who also teaches there students life lessons as well. I want to be the educator who opens their students eyes to things that they didnt know. I guess you could say that I want to have a personal connection with each and everyone of my students.
