I am a University of Minnesota student currently enrolled in Technical and Professional Writing class. Like most college students, I busy myself with academic works and part-time jobs.

Hobbies

My hobbies include: swimming, drawing, reading, and hanging out with friends. I also enjoy playing tennis with friends.

Movies

I don't often go out to movies; however I still enjoy various ones. The movie that I recently saw is Avatar. I was amazed at how incredible the graphics are for a computer made movie. The storyline was also wonderful. I enjoy romantic movies. Though I'm not a big fan of action movies I still enjoy watching them with my brother. My least favorite kind of movie is horror films. Though I enjoy some of them, the creep I get afterwards made them not worth the watch.

Books

My favorite kinds of books are old Chinese folklores. I enjoy reading them in my spare time; they help me relax from a stressful day and lets me escape from reality for a while. I also enjoy reading romantic novels.

Sports

I wouldn't consider myself a really active person but I do try and exercise regularly. In the summer I would go jogging in the morning with my brother. I enjoy playing badminton, swimming, and jogging.

Drawing

When I don't feel like reading, I would usually draw to pass the time. Drawing, like reading, helps me relax. I like to sketch pictures of outfits and some of my favorite TV show characters from my childhood. Aside from sketching I also enjoy painting.

Chinese

Chinese culture plays a big part in my life. I was born in China and have spent a great part of my life in China. I enjoy Chinese food and reading Chinese stories. I practice Chinese everyday. I would spend at least one hour a day either reading Chinese or writing Chinese.

Dogs

My favorite dog is Tibetan Mastiff, also known as 藏獒 (Zang Ao) in Chinese. Here is a picture of Zang Ao :[1]
