My name is Dominique Michelle Boals and I guess I'm from Wisconsin. My mother is in the navy and I have grown up all over. I was born in San Diego, Ca and left when I was four. We moved from there to Illinois, then to Italy, and Wisconsin. My grandmother lived just outside of Milwaukee and her house was always home, I had never lived anywhere for more than four years up until I moved to Chesapeake when I was fourteen. I graduated from Indian River High school in 2007. I have wanted to be a teacher since I was eleven years old and chose to go to Old Dominion because of its location and its education program. I commute from Greenbrier every day and, even though the trip takes forever, I love being able to stay with my family and still go to a decent school.

Children are our future and I would love to believe that I could contribute to that.
