- Introduction
Iceland is a great tourist space located in the northern hemisphere. The weather is cold and has many great locations and history. You can get a great view of the wonderful countries.
Population[edit | edit source]
Iceland has a population of 334,252 people, which is big for a country of Iceland`s size.
Currency[edit | edit source]
The Icelandic currency is called the Icelandic Krona since 1885 and the first coin was issued in 1922. The highest note is 10000 kronur and the highest coin is 100 kronur.
Cities[edit | edit source]
There are plenty of fascinating cities in Iceland and here are a few of them: Reykjavik, the capital city, Akureyri, Husavik and Vik I Myrdal.
Food[edit | edit source]
There are many important foods traditionally made in Iceland including: Hakari, Rye bread, Stockfish and Slatur.
Language[edit | edit source]
The language used in Iceland is called Icelandic and is the most used language in the country.
