The Tundra Biome

[edit | edit source]

The tundra biome is the coldest biome out of the 5 types of biomes. It can reach under 0 degrees C but the animals their can survive in such temperatures.

Frozen Leaves

In the tundra there are glass igloos that you can sleep in whilst watching the northern lights. Its always cold in thee tundra accept in summer it is not always snowing.

The Alpine Tundra

[edit | edit source]

The Alpine Tundra does not contain trees because the altitude of the soil is to high for the limit of block tree growth. This means that the alpine is always filled with long grass and beautiful flowers , animals are very common because of the right weather conditions. [[1]]

Water

[edit | edit source]

The water in the tundra is mostly flowing instead of being frozen because of its not cold enough for glaciers to form or be created.

The Tundra is also home to many arrays of furry and flying birds that explore the frosty emerald green grass that overwhelm the unusual habitat. Foxes and Hares are very common due to the good hiding places in the thick grass. Animals roam and survive vaguely because of the massive drop of temperature during the night time.

Igloos

[edit | edit source]

Igloos are a ancient tradition made by the cavemen because of the below zero temperatures. They are perfect for surviving because of the heating can reach up to 10 degrees C on a 2 degree day.
