Om Namah Bhagwate Vasudevaye

[edit | edit source]

[Mantra:] Harinaya Garbha Purush Pradhana Avayakta Rupine, Om Namah Vaasudevaya Sudh Gayana Svarupine (This Mantra was used by a great king who was also the grand father of another great saint and king Maharaj Prahlad. Maharaj Prahlad used this mantra too. It is also called the 12-word Mantra)

[Mantra:] Om Namah Bhagwate Vaasudevaye

Hey Bhagwan, aap ko pranam hai. [God, I bow to you]

Is sansaar mein jeev ka Shri Vaasudeva ji ke alawa aur koi bhi rakshak nahin hai. [In this world, there is no other protector of a being other than God]

Jeevan mein sukh ki pribhasha hai Sri Vaasudeva ji ko yaad karna. Aur Shri Hari ji ko bhool jaana hi dukh kaha gaya hai. [Remebering God is defined as happiness or joy or comfort, and having forgotten God is the definition of misery and all sadness]

Aadmi Bhagwn ki jiti bhakti kar sake jeewan mein, utna hi accha hai. Jeewan ki safalta isi mein hai ki manushaya Bhagwan ki sada bhakti karta rahe. [The more a person can worship God, the better. Life's success is in the constant worship of God]

Karne waale kewal Shri Hari hi hain. Main moorakhta se hi khud ko karne wala samajh baitha tha. [God is the only doer. By my foolishness alone I mistakenly thought that I was the one who did it or I was the one who could do it]

Hum log helplessly hi samaya mein bahe ja rahein hain. Is maha sagar mein, kewal Shri Hari hi hume sahi rah par rakh sakte hain. Shri Vaasudeva ji ke charan pakade rakhna hi humari khush kismati hai. [We are flowing in this vast flow of time, helplessly. Only God can keep us on the right track. It would be our good fortune if we can keep holding onto the feet of God]

Hum log bhavon mein aa kar Shri Hari ke alawa doosri cheezon ko bada maan baithte hain. Vaastava mein Shri Hari hain aur unke saman aur kuch bhi nahin hain. [Because of emotions, we start thinking other things as big. In reality, there is nothing equal to God]

Kisi ka bura na chahein. Vaasudeva ji humare man mein hain aur doosron ke mano mein bhi. [Don't wish bad for any one. God is present in our heart and in the hearts of others too]

Eeshwar ke bare mein kisi se kuch na kahein [Don't speak of all this or God to any one]

Om Namah Bhagwate Vaasudevaye [I bow to God]
