I'm a modest contributor to the Wikipedia, namely m4 -- the macro language, not the British motorway, nor the messier (astronomy) objects similarly named, and some information in the astrodynamics/celestial mechanics pages over there. My plan is to write about software development. As a "scripter", my experience is in building software.

my credentials:

• from '06 to '12, I trained shell, java, tcl, for a UK-based software services company which sells its services to the big banks of Wall St. our Standard shell (things we sold to customers) was Csh, unlike any mentioned here. but for our support desk, bash was the shell of choice.
